Creating a notification tool

To configure notification tools, the user must have at least the following permissions:

• View tools;
• Manage tools.

To create an Email notification tool, follow these steps:

1. Go to Integrations → Notification tools.

2. Select Add notification tool.

3. In the window that opens, fill in the fields:

   • Name;
   • Tool—select Email;
   • SMTP server;
   • Port;
   • Username;
   • Password;
   • Sender;
   • Recipients (enter specific email addresses if needed).

   

4. Select an authentication method. The following methods are available:

   • AUTH PLAIN;
   • AUTH LOGIN;
   • SCRAM-SHA-256.

5. Enter the authentication details.

6. If needed, check the connection by selecting Check connection.

You can check the connection only when you enter valid authentication details for the notification tool. If the details are correct, the connection check succeeds. If the connection isn't established, verify the details, select an encryption type (SSL/TLS), and try again.

7. Select Create.

The notification tool you created appears in the list of tools in the Notification tools section.

To create a Webhook notification tool, follow these steps:

1. Select Add notification tool.
2. In the window that opens, fill in the fields:

• Name;
• Tool—select Webhook;
• Webhook URL;
• Request rate limit (requests/sec).

3. Select an authentication method:

• Open access;
• Token.

If you select the Token authentication method, enter the header name and value. Example of a name and value: X-Auth-Token: a334564e7dd50848bc20f8984a152f77

4. If needed, check the connection by selecting Test request.
5. Select Create.

The notification tool you created appears in the list of tools in the Notification tools section.

Deleting one or more notification tools

To delete one notification tool, follow these steps:

1. Go to Integrations → Notification tools.
2. Select the additional actions button () next to the required tool.
3. Select Delete.
4. Confirm the deletion of the notification tool in the modal window that opens.

To delete multiple notification tools, follow these steps:

1. Select the tools using the checkboxes ()
2. Select the delete button () above the notification tools table.
3. Confirm the deletion of the notification tools in the modal window that opens.
