Scanning sources
You can add scanning sources for later use in projects.
Connecting a scanning source
Follow these steps to connect a scanning source:
- Go to Integrations → Scanning sources.
- Select Add scanning source.
- In the form that opens, enter the scanning source details:
- Name;
- Description.
- Select a scanning source from the Source drop-down list.

- After you select the source, enter the additional details:
- Source URL;
- Authentication method—this field is optional, but you can't test the connection to the source without it;
- Skip connection test—when you select this option, the system won't test the connection to the source before scanning starts. Use this option when the sources aren't accessible over the network.
info
The Git Repository source supports several authentication methods:
- API token;
- Login/Password;
- Anonymous;
- SSH (a secure authentication method that uses an SSH key; all SSH methods except passphrase are available).

- To test the connection, select Test connection.
info
You can test the connection only if you've previously entered the authentication details correctly in the security tool. If the details are correct, the connection test succeeds. If the connection can't be established, check the details you entered and try again.
- Select Create.
