Project Layer Templates

Overview​

Within the framework of customizing project layer templates, users can create, delete, and edit layer templates for projects, enabling template reuse across different projects.

Template List​

The Project Layer Templates subsection displays user-defined templates in a table format with the following characteristics:

  • Template - Name and description of the template
  • Layer Type - Available types:
    • Landscape
    • Network segment
    • Orchestrator
    • Namespace
    • Service
    • Gateway
    • Release
    • Virtual machine
    • Container
    • Pod
    • Docker
    • Storage
    • Database
  • Information Fields - Number of additional fields/field groups (displayed in the Information tab)
  • Requirements - Number of additional requirements/requirement groups (displayed in the Requirements tab)

Creating a Layer Template​

  1. Navigate to Customization → Project Layer Templates
  2. Click the Add Layer Template button
  3. Fill out the template creation form
  4. Customization Options
    • Information Block - Customizable fields
    • Requirements Block - Customizable requirements To add fields:
      • Click the Add button
      • Select either:
        • Create a new field (constructor-style creation)
        • Use a previously created one Note: The set of fields created is unique to each template
        • Finalization
  5. Click the Create Template button
