Launching Scans
Launching a Security Pipeline Scan
To launch a security pipeline scan, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Projects → Project Name → Security Pipelines
- Click the Start New Scan button

Launch Features
- This action will launch all security checks within the pipeline
- Scans are executed in parallel
Due to architectural limitations of the Solar AppScreener product, issues may arise when simultaneously launching a large number (from several dozen) of security checks (a security pipeline with checks). If this problem occurs, we recommend launching security checks individually. For more details, see Launching a Security Check.
Launching a Security Check Scan
To launch a scan for an individual security check, follow these steps:
- In the Projects → Project Name → Security Pipelines section, find the required security check in the list and expand the action menu for this check using the multiple actions button
- From the action list, select Start New Scan
When a security check is launched, its status changes to In Progress. Upon successful completion, the check transitions to the Completed status. The default maximum total scan cycle runtime is 1 hour. If the cycle reaches the maximum runtime, the check transitions to the Failed status and the process terminates. The Failed status is also assigned if errors occur at any stage of the scanning process.
Stopping a Scan
A scan with the In Progress status can be forcibly stopped. To do this, in the Projects → Project Name → Security Pipelines section, for the corresponding Security Check, click the Stop Scan button.
